Here, in the heart of the Okavango Delta, nature dictates the rhythm. Waters that have journeyed a thousand miles, filtered through sand and papyrus, meet native Mopane and wild Marula to create something magical - a gin that tastes like nowhere else on Earth.

The Ingredients
Mopane Seed: It is Botswana’s version of the Juniper. It is our very own, extraordinary discovery. It contains a-Pinene, an organic compound of the terpene class, and a key element which gives our gin its signature flavour.

Okavango Waters: At the heart of our gins is the sand and papyrus filtered waters from the Tsutsubega floodplain, the result of a thousand-mile meander from the Okavango’s origins in the highlands of central Angola.

The Name
The Sentinel: Dotted across the endless floodplains of the Okavango Delta are thousands of termite mounds. These distinct landforms are the
origins of nearly all islands within this pristine wetland. In a landscape that is remarkably flat, these mounds form the perfect lookout point for “The Sentinel.” This is a member of a baboon troop that perches aloft a termite mound surveying the floodplains for the ever-present threat of predators that roam freely across this land.
